There is no internet coverage or phone reception, however Gary and Jo's house 1km away has a landline for emergencies. If you want the cabins you need to organise this directly with Joanne and Gary on 02 44788505. There are three cabins available on a first come first serve basis for those people who need to dip a toe in the water with this whole camping thing! The property is contained by the stunning cliffs of the Byangee Walls, and bordered by the pristine Clyde River, which runs straight out of the wilderness area and is so clean you can drink it.Īctivities will be centred in the main field, and range out from there into the bush and down to the river. If you're super stealthy you might even catch a glimpse of the shy resident platypi in the gorgeous river. Kookaburras announce the dawn and lyrebirds salute the day. Sugar gliders yip into the night, and sometimes glide through the camp. We're on the last property before the Budawang Wilderness Area, so it's hopping with roos and wallabies and wombats. The nearest towns are Milton and Ulladulla, about an hour away on the dirt road. If you google Yadboro Flat Campground you'll get the general vicinity. We'll be camping in a field in wild bush on the NSW South Coast, 4-5 hours south of Sydney.
